Mission
In the spirit of Blessed Catherine Kasper, Ancilla Systems’ mission is to enhance the
Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ ministries to the poor and underserved. Ancilla Systems, sponsored by the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ, provides services and support to Ancilla Domini Sisters, Inc. and to the PHJC ministries through collaboration and compassionate sharing of its talents and resources.

Ancilla Systems Inc. is a non-profit organization sponsored by the
Poor Handmaids. It is Ancilla’s mission to enhance the PHJC ministries to the poor and underserved. Through collaboration and the sharing of its talents and resources, Ancilla provides services and support to Ancilla Domini Sisters, Inc. and the many PHJC ministries.
Two PHJC-sponsored ministries that receive managerial support from Ancilla Systems are
Nazareth Home, a foster home for medically at-risk infants and children and
Sojourner Truth House, a day center for homeless women and children in the Gary area.
